Joanne Debrah, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with Providence Medical Group-Progress Ridge. In her practice, she enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life. “Everyone is welcome, ” she says, “and everyone deserves a provider who cares about them.” Dr. Debrah works with her patients to make medicine less intimidating and to involve them in decisions so they can find the best path to their healthiest selves. “My philosophy, ” she says, “is to do what is best – and what is achievable – for the person in front of me.” She attended medical school in Hungary, where she grew up, and completed her internship and residency at the North Iowa Mercy Family Medicine Residency. Dr. Debrah speaks Hungarian as well as English.
